Brooke Lesley has a Master’s of Social Work from the University of Utah, and is skilled in companioning teens and adults who are experiencing distress related to incidents of trauma, grief & loss, and life transitions. Did you know approximately 1 in 5 teens (20%) experience depression and anxiety, especially when going through a life transition? Often our actions, feelings, or thoughts regularly create obstacles in our lives, and Brooke believes individuals have the innate ability to navigate life challenges and transitions from a place of personal empowerment and resilience. Most of Brooke’s post-graduate work is focused on mindfulness, acceptance, and self-compassion.
Brooke believes there’s no such thing as a life without pain, and also believes our bodies and minds have the power to heal themselves. Her non-directive approach respects and accesses your inner wisdom, strength, and abilities to move through pain and discomfort and live a meaningful life.
