[Video] How Coaches Can Assist Their Student Athletes During the Recruiting Process

All coaches are busy, especially during the season. However, even in the off-season, coaches can play a major role in helping their student-athletes with the college recruiting process.

Sometimes, high school coaches and club coaches think the student-athlete has it under control. The parents talk about how they have it figured out. They talk about all the places their daughter is visiting, all the phone calls and mail they are receiving, and all of the follows they’re getting on social media.

Whether this is true or not, and whether or not they have a handle on it, checking in with the student-athlete usually gives great insight into how the process is actually going. Is the athlete driving the process, or are the parents? Does it seem like the student-athlete is happy with the way the recruiting process is going?

Many of them are struggling and are afraid to ask for help. You might be the answer they are looking for.
